Picked up my car from Ric Shaw yesterday with the new JIC Coil Overs installed.

First off let me say that Ric Shaw is an absolute guru!!!!!! What I know about suspension settings and setting up a car you could put on a postage stamp. Ric intepreted what I was after and has set my car up to perfection.

It has taken an already great handling car to the next level, without compromising much in road going comfort. Steering appears more direct and sharp, body roll is now almost non existent and she looks pretty sitting an inch lower than stock. (I'll take a picture and post sometime over Christmas).

For a much more knowledgable assessment of how good the mods are (Racing Beat sway bars and end links included), ask Ric for his opinion as he set it up!

If any of you Sydney based boys require anything done to your 8, do yourselves a favour and take it to Ric who treats every car like its his own!

Does the new RX8 handling setup let you go through a corner as good as your Ducati ?

Cars always seem to be able to carry more corner speed (unless your Bayliss, Rossi etc), but the drive out of the corner is absolutely brutal on the Ducati!

How much were the coilovers and swaybars? They sound like a good mod.

guys. the coilovers are great i drove EMACKs rx after i fitted them and spent some time on the shock adjustments. the middle settings i think are the go.
we now have new sway bars front and rear as on EMACKs car made here in aus and springs on the way so we can all benefit from the development going on. i have the first set of bars on my car and love them. will do the springs next and then off to ORAN PARK to see how much better i go than the original 52.9 sec lap. these parts are going to save us all money as i have them made here, like my mufflers i do. hope to put on on EMACKs car soon and then he can report.
we will be doing a ROTARY only drive day at wakefield in april , i'll keep you posted.

If we ordered all the various moods from you would you be ready to fit / tune them to our rides when you organise the drive day at wakefield .

1. sway bars front and rear .
2 .COILOVERS
3.SET UP SUSPENSION
4 LOWER CARS etc

If u could stay in brisbane for a few days maybe other members could also be interested in some extra gear for their rides.?

Michael. coming to Brisbane would be too hard so far as work goes but sway bars and springs suplied would be fine. at the moment we havent looked at shocks and if coil overs are what you are after then i recomend the JIC set up for now. i just got the grill kit for the front of my rx so i"ll fit it and report.

Sorry RIC ment if we came to wakefield COULD YOU ORGANISE A TOTAL SUSPENSION FIT OUT.

Nice pics car looks great can you tell us the cost of the sway bars and the coilovers fitted ??, and would Ric Shaw be prepared to fit them if we stayed after his drive day in wakefield in april .

Iwould be prepared to stay for a few days if i can get Ric to work on my car.

Are you getting canzoomers stage 1 kit???
