So i recently noticed that when i am in 3rd gear about to redline and shift into 4th no matter how i do it the gear will scratch. I make sure the clutch is all the way down and it still scratches. I think it happens anytime after 6.5k rpm. Any ideas?

 

a) Bad synchros
b) Transmission fluid needs to be changed
c) A failing clutch pedal assembly

One of those.

 

My clutch squeaks and sometimes when i press on it makes a sound like 2 plastic things hitting. (kinda hard to explain). Also when i shift into 3rd it sometimes slips out.

 

Ok, it's now narrowed down to possibly c) a failing clutch pedal assembly.
