i reacall him saying he would be busy with demanding clients in the lead up to the holidays so I guess all is well but I'll message him and see if I can stir a response ....

I just got a PM from Dez.

All is well. He has been making a consious effort to have a break with his family, and wants us all to know all is OK.

Plus he has some other news, but I will let him tell!
