Carbon trunk lid legal in B stock?

Carbon trunk lid legal in B stock?
I have a really damaged up trunk lid and have been considering replacing it with a carbon fiber trunk instead of repairing it or buying a new OEM one.

I plan on trying out autocross this summer, is this a legal mod?

the only way it would make a difference on your car is if your stock trunk came with a wing. If I remember correctly the stock trunk with wing weighed in at 30 something lbs...the stock trunk without wing is only a few lbs heavier than the CF trunk.. good luck though

Yet they are taking everything not nailed down out....

As an FYI, the stock wing and attachment hardware weighs in at 3 lbs.

the entire aero Appearance package is very light, I was a bit shocked by how light

I have an OE trunk lid in Whitewater Pearl/Snowflake White paint I'd be happy to make the OP a deal on.

MSCC has a bunch of good guys, but sometimes the rules are a little wonky though!

How long have you been racing there?
