Hi all,

I was just about to purchase a G-Tech Pro Competetion http://www.gtechpro.com when I was sniffing around some more and found the "Mr Dyno" at http://mrdyno.com

Anyone here compared both products. The G-Tech seems to have a sexier package and display. But is it worth the extra when I really just want to measure performace. The MrDyno seems to have a few extra functions.

Would be interested in your thoughts.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Yeah, Bel and Escort make these thingies too. They are basically the same thing in different packages, as Bel and Escort are the same company with different names.

http://www.escortradar.com/gtimer.htm

I looked at all of these except the "Mr Dyno" and eventually bought the GTech Pro Comp model.

OK - I give up. Which one is the "good product"?

The G-Tech is considerably more expensive than Mr Dyno.

The other advantages (on paper) is MrDyno lets you do runs where you don't have to start from standstill, and it allows for SAE correction factors.

G-Tech looks more professional, but I don't want to spend 3 times the money just for the brand.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Thanks for those other links. For the money ($250US) and features offered by Bell/Escort/G-Tech, I think you purchased the right one.

Would be interested in any thoughts on the MrDyno. It has a comparison matrix on their site. ($80US)

Hymee.
