WTB AccessPort
WTB AccessPort
Looking for an AccessPort for my 2004 6 speed MT.
I just need it mostly to kill my CEL's, and the other small things it does. I am already using Int-X for my fuel management.
The AP must not have any alterations to the stock pcm fuel settings. This is strictly for non-fuel management related stuff.
It does not need to be still in the time frame for MM tuning, I am not tuning with it for the forseeable future.
PM me with offers. Shipping to NY 11743.

Yeah, in all likelihood I'll probly end up getting it straight from you MM, that way it'll pretty much be gauranteed to do what I want. Just had to see if there were any good deals to be had. Will be ordering soon, if no favorable response presents itself.
gamechild: if you just want it to clear codes and you still want to keep using the Int-X, why not get a Scanalyzer?
the AP rocks but if you just want to clear codes, sounds like an expensive solution.

Im sure he wants to keep them off. But if you get it from MM you might as well get it tuned for your car. If you want to go back to Int-X remember to put a stock map on ECU you can probably change Cobb's stock one to turn off CELs and lower fan temps (what I did.) When I went back to Int-X I had a MM tune on ECU but it would not boost, I put a stock Cobb map and it started to work, I'm sure MM can explain this better than me.
I keep saying, I can't use the AP for tuning until I can use my MAF for the neccessary readings. Unless MM tells me differently, that's what I have heard.
Also, I have a code reader that clear codes, but thats not the same as deleting the codes from the PCM. The car needs to be code free completely for X number of drive cycles and time to give no problems during NYS Emissions Inspection. If I throw a code every time I start the car, just because I clear it, it doesn't matter. Then again, that's only hear say, so maybe I should go see if I can pass with my code reader.

Heheh, well anyway, we will need a valid real inspection done to get our next Registration Stickers. It's all computerized and knows we havent had an inspection.
