And this is why AP endlinks are the best on the market.

I took a picture for comparison

AP vs. a Stock End-Link.

I made an arrow where they are prone to break and if I am not mistaken there was a recall on this as well for the exact reason that under heavy cornering end-links would break at that point.

As you can see the Rear End-Link on the Left, Stock in the center, and on the Right Front, which is Adjustable.

There is no better End-Link on the market currently then AP with the cost compared to benefits.

They still would, when I had mine on the car it only melted it a bit and stopped, It was only on the inside bottom section. Since I first had mine installed a long time ago it only melted for the first couple of days.

It only melted where it was touching the shroud.

Hmm i have a question!!! will you guys ever make a exhaust finisher that won't cost so much from the dealer? maybe a carbon fiber exhaust finisher. just throwing out ideas :D

I have this exhaust and it is MEAN sounding. Definitely not for people who are looking for a mellow sound. THis exhaust makes the car sound like and F1 racer. And I haven't even installed the cat delete pipe yet... :Eyecrazy::lol:

Omg i wanna slap my self :banghead: i was just thinking today other ways to stop exhaust shroud melting from big tips like agency power. And i was like HEY! they have Heat Tape! from summit http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=SUM-350104&N=700+115&autoview=sku

That can stop exhaust shrouds from melting. SCWEET! im getting an exhaust soon hopefully when my dad gets his SPT exhaust for the Subi then im getting mine

I know its hotter down south, but I've never had issues with my AP pulley giving my rough idles or lack of AC (and it does get in the 90s in the Ohio summers).
But I'm sure the weather is warmer and air is drier down in Texas, so you may notice a lack of AC.

ok thanks. did you notice a hp gain? just better throttle response maybe? i assume it's a similar feeling to lightened flywheel? (i don't know what that feels like, but i understand how ppl have explained it...:lol2: )

I noticed absolutely nothing from this mod.
The couple HP I MIGHT have gained was not noticeable enough to say, "WOW this is nice!"
Honestly, if you're looking for cheap mods that you'll actually notice/feel (and not just in your head) is the short shifter or lighter flywheel.
But that is just my opinion ;)

interesting...i have the ss, it's great. maybe i'll hold off then, keep saving up for my exhaust (i can't get the sound of the borla outta my head once i heard it!!)

Hey guys,

I'd just like to put a good word in for the Agency Power sway bar package. I got them on about a month ago along with the end-links, and I've been DOMINATING at the track lately. For those of you with Facebook, you can see a video of me at Putnam Park. Note the total lack of body roll. EDIT: I'm also running completely factory suspension aside from the sway bars, so all the benefits are just from that!

It makes the RX-8 a lot more controllable, and with my wider 255 tires all around, the onset of oversteer and understeer becomes very gentle. I actually go around some tight corners at full throttle now because the sliding is so controllable.

It's the best $500+ or so I've ever spent.

Note that if you don't adjust the front end links properly, you'll get a rocking noise. Now that I have it adjusted, I still have some noise when there is a sudden elevation change on the road, but on the track, there's no problems whatsoever.

Yeah, pretty sure. Simple up/down movements don't cause any noise. However, if I were to say..., head down and incline, and then immediately hit an upward incline, I get some noise. I guess forward/backward movement makes the noise.

Yes, I'm interested in the cat-back only as well. Also, if you can suggest something a little more mellow and a cat back only, best-you-can-do price. Kind of on a budget but still wanting a good sound.

Yes it does but you will need to modify the rear exhaust hangers to compensate for clearance issues.
