I was quoted $320 for the parts kit referenced in the TSB.

Its also harmless to the car, I am going through my 5th season of the gunk. There is a sticky post in this very forum on this subject. https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=49652. I suggest you look over all the sticky posts, most common RX-8 questions have already been asked over and over.

Yours is an 04 correct? Without the original bumper to bumper you would have to pay for the repair. Again the gunk is harmless don't worry about it.

let it cool completely down then check your fluids. also, make sure it was the radiator light... we have a few different ones.

most common RX-8 questions have already been asked over and over
and answered over and over too

OMFG.............I'm not counting these this year!

Anyway.................Like Expo said..........please get a manual and read it, it's free after registering.

On your second issue.................make sure it's the coolant light. Then check the fluid level, but know this...............if it is the coolant light and your coolant level checks out okay, then it is the sensor. It's built into the reservoir, so you have to buy the whole reservoir bottle.

Reading the stickies on this forum will answer 90% of questions you may have, it's reall quite useful.
