Does this fit 09s? tubingchamp 01-04-2009, 03:53 AM Deth, I live in Surrey and want it :( But I bought a S/C can't afford now 0_o Can you wait a few months? :D Dethwalkin 01-04-2009, 08:25 AM Deth, I live in Surrey and want it :( But I bought a S/C can't afford now 0_o Can you wait a few months? :D Can you make some kind of downpayment? I would hate to not sell it and then have you change your mind. For $150 I will hold it for you until you have the balance. Are you in the BC RX-8 club? PM me, I'm sure we can work something out.:) Dethwalkin 01-04-2009, 08:38 AM Does this fit 09s? I don't know. Ask the dealership if the trunks are the same. WhiteSnowflake8 01-05-2009, 04:25 PM Hey Deth what spoiler you got on that car? It looks sick!! Dethwalkin 01-05-2009, 05:57 PM Hey Deth what spoiler you got on that car? It looks sick!! It's the BUDDY CLUB GT 135mm X 1540mm and thanks:) . I love it 9krpmrx8 01-05-2009, 06:00 PM was it too weak for your spoiler? T-ReX-8 01-05-2009, 06:36 PM Picture of actual item please. Has it been installed? How was the fitment? Dethwalkin 01-05-2009, 06:43 PM was it too weak for your spoiler? No It was fine. Part of the allure for me about carbon fiber is the prestige. I changed my mind and didn't want to leave the trunk unpainted. The wieght difference between the stock and this one isn't huge ether so no big gains there. Dethwalkin 01-05-2009, 06:50 PM Picture of actual item please. Has it been installed? How was the fitment? It's still at the body shop. I'll take pic's of it when I get all the old parts back to my place. Most likely this weekend. Yes it was put on and as far as the fit, wasn't perfect. For a "OEM FIT" It sits a little high. tubingchamp 01-05-2009, 07:26 PM It's still at the body shop. I'll take pic's of it when I get all the old parts back to my place. Most likely this weekend. We talking not visible or very noticeable? 0_o Not sure if you saw the post :) Dethwalkin 01-06-2009, 11:57 AM Not sure if you saw the post :) Hey Here are two pic's that show what i'm talking about. If you want it to look perfect then you'll need to take it to a body guy. Mine said he could do it no problem but I didnt want to take the time or spend the money. I spent $12000.00 plus taxes on the new motor which I didn't plan on spending so now I'm trying to get back a little. If I hadn't had to spend the money on the motor then I would have had the work done on the trunk. As we all know, The Accolade front fenders don't fit well at all. They needed alot of work to look good. Thats where I chose to go. I had $6000 for bodywork and paint. If I wanted the trunk perfect, I would have exceeded my budget. tubingchamp 01-06-2009, 12:13 PM Ouch dude.. Did he quote you how much it would cost to get it fitted? Was hoping since it was authentic, it would fit perfectly, and I could do it myself. My not-so-authentic Seibon hood fits way better 0_o Dethwalkin 01-06-2009, 12:25 PM Ouch dude.. No I dont know the weight. I held one in one hand and the other in the other hand and the CF one felt lighter to me for sure. All I have to wieght it on would be my bathroom scale. No I dont have any more pics of it on the car. Shipping will be around $80 USD i'm guessing. If it's more than that I would be willing to pay half of the difference and half of the insurance if you want it insured that is. 2tone 01-18-2009, 01:41 PM pm'd Dethwalkin 01-19-2009, 07:04 PM Sold.
