Ok I posted a few weeks ago saying I finally got an RX-8. It was bone stock when I got it. An 05 with only 15k miles. So far I've powdercoated the rims, window tint, RX-8 Store exhaust and the IPOD adapter.

Looking good. All black rims look great on WWP. Any plans for some clear corners?

How much did it cost to powdercoat the rims? I've been thinking about doing this.

Thanks. Yeah I want to get the corners. I dunno what to get next though. Either short shifter, corners or strakes.

The powdercoating depends on where you go. I called around to like 6 places and the one in my hometown wanted 100 a rim. I found a place that did the sandblasting and powdercoating for 175 total. Remember you have to take the tires off and rebalance and all so that was around 100. So it cost me about 275 total to do it.

thats really sharp!! how is the red leather to keep clean?

Not bad at all. I bought some Armor All leather wipes that I keep in the trunk and run em over the seats every once in a while.

How did you get the red leather in white pearl??? I couldn't find any around, I even asked mazda dealer about it and he said they dont put red leather in white pearls so I went with sunlight silver.

Whats with the carpets? Look interesting

Well they are supposed to be clear. And they were in the store. But when I took em out they apparently glow in the dark or something or the sun makes em change to blue when they get sun. Weird. And I didn't feel like taking em back because they're easy to clean.
