So first off I'd like to just say I've done several searches and found very little on this, so I figured it warranted making a thread.

Anyways, that being said, I'm really interested in the "X-treme" front bumper and side skirts from ATH - Hinsberger

and I was wondering what experiences any of you have had with this kit. How did you order it and who did you order it through? How much was it? Did everything fit well? How much was labor and paint? Simple questions like this.

If anyone could recommend a reliable vendor with shipping info it'd be appreciated.

Finally, I don't want this to turn into a love/hate discussion about the ATH kit. I personally love the look, and to be honest that's what I think is most important when I'm considering the kit. :)

Sorry, forgive my nub-ishness ahead of time, but why does Onderground have specific instructions for US customers if they don't deliver to the US?:wallbash:

Maybe I'm just misunderstanding your post, but at the moment I'm fortunate enough that the shipping cost isn't my primary concern; I just want to get the kit here.

the front is really sexy. but i dont like the back. it doesnt seem to flow well. just my opinion though.

Yeah I emailed onderground a few weeks ago. The cost of getting the front bumper and sideskirts to my front door is $2995 (includes the price of the pieces and the outrageously far shipping + customs).

My question is if anyone has had any experience with the fitting and/or quality of ATH. I'm more than willing to shell out the 3 g's for them, but I'm just trying to do research enough to make the purchase worthwhile.

Appreciate the advice though :)

You might try contacting Nightracer13. He has a friend that has the kit. At least he has pictures of a blue with the nose and Veilside side skirts.

All I can say is that they are perfect done! They fit like the ginue parts from mazda!
Except the carbon fiber hood! But this isn't produced by Hinsberger himself.

Well packed, and the trial fitment was just like stock.

Due to some family priorities I won't be able to get it sprayed and installed until the new year, but pictures then, for sure!

i have now fulfilled my sociologically dictated good deed for the day :)

I've actually been eyeing this kit for a few months myself. when i get my car back i'll be in Europe, and just a hop skip and jump away from a large portion of germany.... i'd stake that it'd be a bit cheaper to buy this kit over there, than to try and have one imported there....

Sorry for the major thread revival guys, but I would really like to know what the result of this was. I want the ATH front end but am having trouble finding an affordable way to get it to the US. Sounds like it fits well and all, now it's just down to finding the least financially crippling method of obtaining it.

If that's still available, it may be a more economical way to get a bumper of this style, unless you insist on the original.

Yeah I've looked into those, but I like the design of the real ATH bumper better. Top vents are larger, bottom vents are smaller. I think it looks better. Thanks for the input though.

It will cost you a grand total shipped, and you'll have to pick it up at an major airport though.
