Ive bought two cars from Mazda of Everett, and have loved the service i received. You'll have to talk to them about your tradein because I have no clue what they would do with it. Dpends on value, the shape it's in and how your paying for your RX-8
Trade in
Trading in a 2007 Porsche Cayman ..getting a real low offer for a Great car .Thinking now I know why the car biz is in the tanker with all these People without any vision or ideas here in WA. this is an easy deal in So Cal ,where I came from
,Might have to make a trip back to strike a deal worth doing .any sugestions welcome

I hate to say it but, what about Cayman don't you like that you're looking to the RX-8 to improve upon? As I was shopping for my 8, I found myself wishing Caymans had been around for a few more years so they'd be more readily available used but as the market was in June I couldn't reasonably consider one in June.
That said, I'd actually recommend against Walker's Renton Mazda. While the service guys have been great, I've found all their sales people (outside of Jay, their sales manager, who was awesome) haven't been that knowledgeable and I've got 2 anecdotal horror stories for you. One is Sacrifice off the boards here, who waited for what, 2 months to get his transmission replaced and when they first gave it back, it still wasn't quite right? The other is that while I was in there waiting on them to fix my sideview mirror assembly and do an oil change, a 6 had come back into the shop. They had swapped the engine on it under warranty. A tech came back into the waiting area to talk to Gary (their head mechanic, who is also awesome) saying that all the engine mounts were messed up. So go in eyes open and be aware of who you're talking to there. Other than that, they gave me a fair price, gave me my first oil change free, have been good about providing loaner cars for free for even the most minor of stuff...

Doug's Lynnwood Mazda, University Mazda (Seattle) and Lee Johnson Mazda (Kirkland). Those would be the ones I would choose. I got my 8 from Doug's at an excellent price, lots of negotiating room and while they may try and switch up the sales people on you to try and convince you they can't go lower. Just keep challenging them until you get what you can live with. Not what you want. I know that doesn't sound good but if you can live with what you want, then you're all set!
Great selection of 8s as well.
On a personal level though, I think if I was not so dead set on having a rotory engine and the Cayman were more affordable I would have considered one. Not a horrible car at all.
Just little tidbits of info. Stay away from Walker's Renton Mazda. As Anijo said, most of their sales people know nothing about the 8s.
