One week out now... who's still up for a drive?

My family thing on the 13th is off so I'm available for a drive again.

Any objections to meeting at the BP on the Pacific Highway at Stapylton at 1pm?

Map is here: http://www.nowwhere.com.au/BP/AustLocator/mappage.aspx?txtState=QLD&TxtTown=stapylton&TxtPC=&TxtStreet=&txtRadius=5&TxtIdass=&txtInstores=0&txtProduct=0&txtFacilities=0&txtCarwash=0&txtPayment=0&txtFood=0&Button1=Search

Edit: URL corrected... thanks L&L

Hehehe - I like playing with mapping sites. It's a pity the S/W thinks the servo is right in the middle of the southbound lanes :)

Zoom in a bit by making the "Map Width" only 1km

Cheers,
Hymee.

BTW - Sorry, Hymee can't make it that weekend. Cheers. Have good luck. Don't fill up with Caltex Vortex before hand :)

I have now put the matter in the hands of my lawyer - they wanted me to sign away my rights to consequential damages...

As if.

Cheers,
Hymee.

how many are going to make the drive?

I'm still keen but it's a bit of a haul for me from Sydney so I'm hoping for a whole bunch of you if I head up ?

i cant see the numbers being great as it seems most people are either preoccupied or not interested enough to join a drive day , queenslander are fairly lay back lot .

When i was in bussines it was easier to organize 20 Auctions a month than tryng to organize a drive day , apathy seems to rule.

So dont hold your breath , how is the rx8 aus club going i bet more apathy there as well?

C'mon guys stop monkeying around and lets organise a great drive day for Queensland. Don't let the Sydney and Maelbourne RX8 drivers outdo us, so pull your finger out and come along!

Given the distinct lack of interest I'm thinking of postponing until late January.

Thoughts anyone?

Sco,

Sorry for my "lack of interest". Gotta be a Dad as well ;)

Late January/early Feb. Was thinking of a Dyno day January as well.

Cheers,
Hymee.

Sorry guys,

I didn't bother reading the latest posts until after I replied - (too many red wines me thinks)

If it is January count me in - I am definitely not unenthusiastic about this car.

I'll opt for the Jan 04 drive too as I was hoping for larger numbers to make the haul up on Friday night from Sydney worth it - how about we get organised, I'll get this whole club shit underway and we could get some bodies together to form a Qld arm and drive for most of the day too!?
