Does anyone have one of those "cutaway" pictures of the chassis? One that would show how the suspension is designed? Also, does anyone know the spring rates and what kind of shocks they will be? Mazda OEM or another manufacturer?

Dance! Dance like a monkey Buger! :p
Not quite what you asked for but how's this? The speed-sensitive power steering uses no hydraulics. The electric motor directly drives the rack based on a sensor on the pinion shaft.

Well done Buger! :)
Curious how the rear anti sway bar is so much thinner than the front.
Now post the spring rates and it will be Buger Nirvana. :D

What's interesting to me is that it appears the RX-8's sway bars are hollow (diameter *and* thickness measurements, instead of just one). This is good for weight savings in the suspension. Yummy. :)

Are these numbers for the base RX-8 or one that has the upgraded suspension packages (Sport, Touring or Grand Touring)??? Doesn't Mazda change the suspension when you get one of these package options?

Thanks.

Does anyone know the spec's on the non-sport suspension's bars (if different)? Ran a search and couldn't find anything.
