I normally use excel to do quick unit conversions.

Google have added a really neat feature.

Go to www.google.com
In the Google search field, enter "177 kW in HP"
Click search, and you get:

177 kiloWatts = 237.36091 HP

Cool!

The help does not say all of the supported units. I suspect the common ones, and the metric multipliers (k,m,c etc)

Cheers,
Hymee.

Been using that for ages. Also works for kPa to PSI. Not as much use for you guys though I suppose :)

Actually is does most imperial <-> metric conversions
try 14l/100km in mpg:
14 l/100km = 16.8010417 miles per gallon

The "imperial" units are really miles per US gallons in Google. I thought "imperial" meant "mppg" or "miles per Pommy gallon". Oh, well at least we can talk to the Europeans and the Canadians!
