I recently bought an axxess ipod. The ipod plays and the sound is very high quality. it does not work with my radio controls the ipod retains all function. Am i doing something wrong here??

i use axxess parts all the time and here is my question for you. where did you get the parts. you should have a white box, ipod chord, and than a end that looks like a computer chip with wires. if so than you have done nothing wrong. thats how axxess works with some cars. others encompass the steering wheel contols. also if you want to give it another shot, get the latest itunes version downloaded onto your ipod. Also what kind of ipod are you using....i have found that some ipods such as the video wont play with the controls only the ipod. and the old nano seems to use them fine.

I bought it from a member on this forum. yes i have the white box, ipod cord and the computer chip. ive tried a classic 160g ipod and my iphone and both work the same way. I think im starting to like it better that way... as long as i dont kill myself looking for the right song.

 

Did the box also come with an 1/8" cable that you are plugging into the headphone jack?

 

weird.....no it just had the ipod interface cable not the head phone jack cable....i sold it to hiim

 

strange...the problems you are having are the problems that a lot of the other owners wish they had. I wish you luck in getting it fixed. And when you do...can you post how you fixed it so others might try and break theirs?
