This is my first post, i was lookin around ebay and came across a yellow rx8 with yellow and black leather! ive never seen this....sorry if this is a repost

it has aftermarket wheels on it so I bet the owner had the leather done too

NICE leather!! Really wasn't too big on the yellow but, with that interior it looks sweet. With that said, I still think I will go after the titanium:-)

what's even crazier is that it's listed a 3.7L inline 6 cylinder!

Some of the advertising from non-U.S. markets showed the yellow leather. I really liked it and might have gotten it if it were available.

The leather looks nice, but the rims just don't seem right. I've seen cars that looked good with dark rims, but not a yellow 8.

This is what I've arranged. Right down to the color of the leather -- a slightly lighter shade than the exterior. The all-black interior doesn't do the yellow car justice, but the 2-tone blk/ylw lightens the interior and sets off the car perfectly, imo.

Still waiting for my VIN#.... but thanks for this preview!!! Heck, almost tempted to bid on this but I definitely want something from current production run and no miles.

I agree about the wheels - too dark. Don't care for the dark window tinting either but in Phoenix it's probably a must.

All the aftermarket stuff on this car was done by SPD -- I was at the dealership recently, and according to the saleslady, this SPD shop does mostly Honda but works on Mazda also.

Anyway, if I remember correctly, they were asking about $42500 on the sticker about a week ago.

I have Lightning Yellow and those pics don't do the color justice at all. I agree that the dark wheels have to go but also the amber corners have to go as well. I must say that I'm on the fence with the two-tone yellow leather. I like the two-tone red and the two-tone chapperal but Lightning Yellow is such a powerful color that I think drowning the interior in it would just be too much. The only additional part I would consider making yellow is the piece below the rear bumper that is black plastic.

Umm, I live in Phoenix and am considering purchasing a yellow RX-8, and would definitely get yellow leather done. I'll probably go take a look at this sometime this week.

The wheels would have to go and 300 miles is not new to me. That's 300 miles of test drive, womp the throttle on a brand new engine that I wouldn't take unless it had a serious discount with and extended warranty.
