Does anyone know the bolt and nut sizes on the spring connectors between the midpipe and the muffler (catback)? Can't find it in search and I need to replace mine for... reasons. Thanks...
i'm guessing either 10 or 14 mm studs? which is it?

they are studs not bolts. the nuts on mine seized. i tried looking at auto parts stores for days trying to find them but nobody had the right size. you will have to get them from a dealer unfortunately and they are about $9 each. you can try to see if the service department is doing a cat swap and see if the can give you the old studs from another car. thats what i did and the guy gave them to me for free.

yikes that sucks.
all i really need to know is if the studs and nuts are standard sizes. because if yes i can find them in a hardware store or make my own. and when i say size i mean internal diameter. i guess i really just need to know the stud size then, huh? lol...

If you don't want to use the springs then you can take one of the bolts/studs in to hardware shop. Find what nut fits on the end that go into the catpipe. Then you can use that to find the correct thread size, pitch, etc. I think the pitch was 1.25 and it was a metric bolt. That's what I just did and bought two 1.25 inch bolts that threaded perfectly into the catpipe. No springs though.

got it. thanks to nuke and optic for the help, really helpful to know that pitch.
for reference, it's a 10 mm stud with 14 mm nuts. <--that's what she said.

i wouldn't suggest using just plain bolts. that joint is made to be flexible so you don't crack your manifold or something.

Yeah the springs on the stock joint help the rear assembly flex back and forward under stress. But, since the cat and muffler assembly are on hangers and can flex a little anyway--I don' t think damage will occur if just straight bolts are used.
