View Full Version : Luckiest incident ever -_-.
ShinkaTeen 09-30-2008, 01:25 AM Sooooooo i was driving home from my muay thai gym after training on the 76 ( a highway thats only 2 lanes) when im about 2 miles or so from my home im obeying the speed limit (55)like a good little teenager.
WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN!.
a motorcycle to me seems like is flashing his lights at me . (it was reflecting into my eyes from my rear view) and i was like "ARGHHHH WHAT THE HELL" then it was to the point when i could only catch a glimpse of the lights and... it stung like mannnn....i was getting pissed ...
sooooo my teenage hormones RAGED. and i dropped it to 3rd And zipped through the turns and the dangerous roads at idk what speed.....well beyond the speed limit, and leave the annoying motorcycle guy behind me... .
i get to the turn that goes into my neighborhood and i wait for oncoming traffic to stop, then the motorcycle behind me is passing by and i take a good look at the bike and the driver. and noticed gold trim. a tan uniform. and california highway patrol -_-.
woooOOOOO luckkkyyyyy i didnt get a ticket.
mannnnnnn. that would have been bye bye for my license.
rollerbldes 09-30-2008, 01:46 AM Control the raging hormones man...
XlYesterdaYlX 09-30-2008, 02:15 AM haha he highbeamed you and didn't pull you over? that is some kind of sorcery.
ShinkaTeen 09-30-2008, 01:51 PM Control the raging hormones man...
-_-. the raging is uncontrollable .. /sigh ill try.
I doubt he was flashing hi-beams on you.. the lights on a motorcycle sit higher that that on a car and it may seem like its flashing hi-beams when its going over uneven pavement on the road.
...lucky

...lucky
definite possibility ...-_-.
Socket7 09-30-2008, 03:09 PM Isn't running down dangerous roads at breakneck speeds the way you drove your Shinka off a cliff?
ShinkaTeen 09-30-2008, 03:59 PM Isn't running down dangerous roads at breakneck speeds the way you drove your Shinka off a cliff?
....-_-....NO....
..maybe....
c0ldf1ame 09-30-2008, 04:34 PM i ride with my highbeams on all the time, you got lucky, but watch out for bikers
UNDISPUTED_FB 09-30-2008, 05:48 PM hahaha ya "watch out for biker" , lololol. they better watch out for me, no matter what you try, if ur on a bike, the car will win. ive had my run in with bike, you try to be nice to them and move over to let them through and they still try to fuck with you. dont get me wron, there are cool bikers, but if ur an asshole with me, ill make sure u know what the pavement taste like. its easier to fix a fender than it is to get pins drilled into u:)
c0ldf1ame 09-30-2008, 05:58 PM ... thats also attempted murder...
Sniperous 09-30-2008, 06:43 PM hahaha ya "watch out for biker" , lololol. they better watch out for me, no matter what you try, if ur on a bike, the car will win. ive had my run in with bike, you try to be nice to them and move over to let them through and they still try to fuck with you. dont get me wron, there are cool bikers, but if ur an asshole with me, ill make sure u know what the pavement taste like. its easier to fix a fender than it is to get pins drilled into u:)
sarcasm i'm guessing or a joke. I ride a bike as well. I drive with my high beams on during the day so people can see me.
^ + 1 .... that's messed up...
.. not all bikers are like that... the majority of all incidents w/ motorcycle vs cager is found at fault of the cager. Mostly because they aren't paying attention. I literally kicked a door while riding down the freeway from a stupid driver talking on the cell phone and tried switching lanes right into me. My steel toe boot left a big imprint on her door... she got the message. A lot of riders now also have helmet cams too.. (like myself) so don't be so quick to go vigilante on the next biker you see...
c0ldf1ame 09-30-2008, 07:01 PM ^ thats a great idea! hey how do you set yours up? im interested in doing this

If a biker wants to pass me by straddling lanes in traffic, thats his right for risking his life on a bike.
mysql 09-30-2008, 07:29 PM i don't like it when bikers hug the center divider line so I have to move over to give them space.
ShinkaTeen 09-30-2008, 11:38 PM ........HEllloOoooOOOOoooo... lucky incident u guys r suppose to be praising me for not getting a ticket... jesus.s......
hhahahaha..
yeah bro... actually purposefully ramming into a biker or ANYONE for that matter.. kindaaaa to intense for me.

My father DIED in a motorcycle accident you ass.... to even joke about(if thats what you were doing) hitting a motocyclist on purpose is sheer stupidity and unresponsible.... You don't deserve to even be on these forums you self righteous asshat.
Got shoot squirrels or something, because you dont deserve to even be in the general population.
photo chick 10-01-2008, 01:06 AM ^^+1...attempted murder is not cool. and you don't gain any inches by bragging about it. if you don't like the guy on the bike, why stoop down and be a douche like him?
as for shinka teen. dude. i backed you up when you got in your accident and said you learned your lesson and for people to back off of making fun of you. i now take that back. drive safe and stop risking it. some people don't get second chances.
rollerbldes 10-01-2008, 01:17 AM Don't blame shinka teen, blame the teenage hormones!
Motorcycle accidents are not fun.. yes I've met a few ass riders on the road, but I would never think about running them over. I do wish the cops would pull them over more often though, teach them a lesson that way.
T-ReX-8 10-01-2008, 02:44 AM Good thing this kid doesn't have a fast car.. The cop probably felt pity for you.
em1turbo 10-01-2008, 03:04 AM hell i would have drove over his ass. i frekin hate cops dude. next time ram him off the road.
photo chick 10-01-2008, 03:05 AM ...i'm so happy i'm part of this forum :eyetwitch
em1turbo 10-01-2008, 03:09 AM lmaoooo its a funny forum. gota admit.
toneskii707 10-01-2008, 03:09 PM I got lucky too about a week ago i was minding my own business driving on the freeway going home at night and decided to shoot some flames at people driving past them I didn't know there was a CHP 1/4 mile back of me I was going 99 when I looked at the speed started to slow down when I saw a car flying up to me I swiched lanes the car got behind me then I relized it was a CHP he pulled me over and said I was speeding he was kind of laughing then he said he saw me shoot flames he saw I had no front plate and gave me a fix it ticket just for that no speeding ticket thank god I shook his hand said thanks for not giving me a ticket his reason for not giving a ticket was he has a RX7 and wanted to get an RX8 soon.
FattySpartanRx8 10-01-2008, 03:37 PM ^ now THAT'S lucky lol.... It's good to know that all cops aren't jerks when it comes to JDM cars.
Most of the time you can have a JDM car and muscle car with the same mods and the cop will give the ticket to the JDM not the muscle... its lame... but oh well... I guess americans in "american" cars are the only ones that are allowed to be car enthusiasts that mod their cars.
dozer 10-01-2008, 03:38 PM ^so He Lives!!!!!!!
ShinkaTeen 10-02-2008, 12:15 AM well guys, think about my situation it was a two way lane , it was either get blinded or speed up.

ShinkaTeen 10-02-2008, 12:21 PM Turn your mirrors?
Then i could'nt see behind mee, helllllloooo -_-. ahem.
dozer 10-02-2008, 12:39 PM ^its called a rearview mirror!
LionZoo 10-02-2008, 01:27 PM Then i could'nt see behind mee, helllllloooo -_-. ahem.
You can turn your mirrors to a certain angle where the glare isn't as bad. Regardless, you're not the first person to get high beamed from the rear and other people have survived. There are annoyances in life and really getting high beamed is pretty low on the list.
ShinkaTeen 10-02-2008, 02:14 PM ^its called a rearview mirror!
the light was flashing FROM the rear view mirror -_-
dozer 10-02-2008, 02:22 PM gts come with a electronic anti-glare bullcrap...on the normal ones you just have to pull the little switch thingy on the bottom, its ment for situations like that...

kwescott 10-02-2008, 05:21 PM next time, let the motorcycle pass...otherwise, hormones or not, your poor driving habits will catch up to you.
{EDIT} oh, just read your siggy, looks like your poor driving habits have already taken effect....since you've already lost an RX8. Oh, isn't it fun to be 18.
c0ldf1ame 10-02-2008, 07:57 PM so what happens when you turn 20?
rollerbldes 10-02-2008, 08:57 PM so what happens when you turn 20?

mrinno 10-02-2008, 09:03 PM so what happens when you turn 20?
Well .. taking that he got his driving permit at the age of 16 .. drove for 2 years or less .. and lost his first 8 ...
Im thinking when he turns 20, he'll be on his 3rd ..
toneskii707 10-02-2008, 09:16 PM How bout not hating on shinkateen, stuff happens like that sometimes to people us, in my case cops see a young latino guy in an 8 and they start hating right away, I got another fix it ticket for my exhaust long story short got pulled over right in front of the cannabis club and he made me pop the hood (good thing I didn't have the nitrous set up yet) and everything he looked confused as I popped the hood I don't think he seen a rotary before

ShinkaTeen 10-02-2008, 09:59 PM by the time im 20 ill probably have a lotus.. lets hope i dont lose it and dont get another one..
BlueKnight 10-02-2008, 11:03 PM Too funny. I had something similar happen a couple months back, although no raging teen hormones here.
I was sitting at a light on Newport in Tustin (near Foothill HS). I was in an energetic mood and had some Jimmy sitting inches from my bumper. The light turned green and I floored it, redline shifted until I got to the street I was turning on (about 1/2 a mile) and had another red light at the turn signal. I was laughing at the Jimmy because he was trying to keep pace with me but I was majorly leaving him behind.
Anyway, the guy gets into the turn lane and when the light turns green I look in my side mirror to see the OC Sherrifs logo on his door. So not being a complete idiot, I went EXACTLY the speed limit on that street. He followed me for about an eighth of a mile and then flipped a U-turn. As soon as he did, I floored it, he flipped on his lights, and that was the last I saw of him. ROFL

You rebel you.
kwescott 10-03-2008, 01:35 PM so what happens when you turn 20?
You find out that your parents no longer pay for everything and that insurance rates are affected by your driving habits....either that, or if you'll still living at home....you spend your time driving around, looking forward to your 21st birthday when you then can begin to legally do a lot of drinking and driving. :eyetwitch
cheers

I've highlighted the important part of your comment. You'll find out that being young has its disadvantages with respect to cars. Cops make examples of you for a reason, to teach you lessons. Eventually, you go one of two directions...you continue to fight back and complain about constantly being pulled over, or two, you make adjustments (what kind of car you drive, how you drive it, when you drive it, or what you do to it).
When I initially bought my RX8, it was because I knew it wouldn't draw the same level of attention as the Honda Civic that I owned previously. I enjoyed the fact that the car was rare, was perceived as being "adult owned", I could do whatever I wanted to the car. But now, the image has changed for the beloved 8, and it is no longer a car overlooked by cops.
If you are young, and own this car, you will get pulled over. It has nothing to do with your race...it has everything to do with your age.
In any event, enjoy the car for what it is, and take the lessons your given.

ShinkaTeen 10-04-2008, 12:55 AM but.... i dont drink nor do i want 2.....im a thai boxer, ...drinking = more weight..bad kidneys.
by the time im 21 i have my bachelors :].. u just made think about that... YAY.
and as for adjustments , the only time i've been in confrontation with a cop is when i lost my 1st 8. other than that. ive been paying for my own car until i graduated ,then my parent took it over as a grad present, but i still pay the 150 a month insurance.
