anybody make these? Im new to the rotary/RX experience and my tips are really nasty from the rich factory tune. Im going to get some neverdull and polish them up. But I was thinking why not make a cheap slide over tip cover you could throw away every couple years and save my elbow grease?

Im not going catback, I like this car quiet after 15 years of modding eclipses Im done with the fart cans. I am replacing factory cat to help the motor breathe and live longer and can deal with the slightly deeper tone but no catbacks. That and a K&N drop-in will be it, I cant believe how loud the Typhoon system is for these cars.

replacing the cat is going to make it sound tinny/raspy with an oem muffler....you sure you wanna head that route?

not sure but thanks for the tip, Im digging the rotary sounds past 6k rpm, I want to get rid of some heat/backpressure but dont want the booming catback at highway cruise.

On a side note: after test driving a 350Z I was really dissapointed by the sounds I mean its a sports car but sounds like a G35 sedan or my dad's camry. While the levels are low in the stock rx as well the quality/type of sounds the rx makes are way more pleasing than the z was. so glad i chose the 8

the turbo xs catback with racepipe doesnt sound bad at all on the highway if you have the silencers in.
