Hey guys,

Let me preface this by saying that I'm not affiliated with the company I'm about to mention in anyway whatsoever and never met Mike, the owner and lead tech until this morning. That said, I'm a huge believer in referring people to companies that have done me right.

Sevenstock is next weekend and I was looking to get my car in as good a shape as possible. I've got some scratches on my rear bumper from not pulling far enough into the garage before closing it (that I'm trying to fix myself, but that's another story) and lots of little door dings after 5 years of my car being a daily driver. The dings were my top priority.

I sent Mike from The Dent Doc (www.thedentdoc.com) and email last week with pictures of the dings and he got back to me the next morning with a quote. We scheduled the repairs for today. The dings ranged anywhere from a large rock that was kicked up by a semi and hit just in front of my left side mirror to a tennis ball sized dent (from a fast moving shopping cart???) on the left quarter panel to a half dozen tiny dings across my passenger side door.

Mike came out this morning and found an additional dozen or so dings that I had missed. We had agreed to a "full car cleanup" that included removing all of the dings for a fixed price.

Down to the results: aside from a few scuffs in the clear coat that he wasn't able to buff out you can't tell there was ever a ding anywhere on my car. The job he did was absolutely unbelievable. I'm hesitant to list the price that I paid here, but suffice it to say it was significantly under quotes that I got from other companies and the work is superb.

If you've got door dings, look him up!

I'll post pictures later if anybody is that interested.

he also works freelance with at least one other PDR body shop. from what i've heard, he is THE best in the San Diego area.
how much did you end up paying? i have tiny door dings on my rear doors from the stupid san diego parking lots, so just wondering

Aw hell, I hope he doesn't mind this.... I'm sure prices vary depending on a lot of factors (placement, depth, size, how many are on a single panel, maybe even your location - he is mobile), but I paid a total of $375 for at least 15 dings repaired. Other quotes I had were as high as $500. His work is truly flawless.

I'll give this guy a call. I probably have as many dings and small dents along my doors.

You going to make the Sevenstock caravan Davey? I'll be happy to show you the before and afters...Sorry, I have a policy about getting up on Saturday mornings and driving all day to car shows. I'll probably end up at Black's Beach (the southern part not the northen part) after my mid-morning workout.

If there is another time you'd like to meet let me know.

I'd like to add another recommendation to The Dent Doc. Not quite as many dings as RotorMotor and only cost $300. Came right to my office garage and worked on it while I worked. +1
