im trying to find a a set of cheap rims to use as drag rims. i know hondas run the same bolt pattern. i would prefer 16s, but im afraid that oem 16s will be too narrow. i want something i can mount 265s on pretty easily, so im really looking for 16x8. but aftermarket rims are fine too, i just want something cheap. miata forums? honda forums?

anyone have a spare tire rim they want to sell me for $50?

skinnies and drags... shooting for high 13s. we do what we can.

and just so everyone knows, 16s do fit on the rear of a 6mt, but not on the front. see.. mazda was taking drag racing in account with the rx8.

 

do looks matter? i think i know a place that custom make steelie wheels in any offset and width i think it around 2-3 hundred for the set

 

you can find ap1 s2000 wheels for about $150-200. They are 16x8r and 16x7f... Not sure if the offset would work though since it is pretty high. You might also consider stock rx7 wheels which are 16x8.

 

looks dont matter, in fact, the uglier the better. i want to spend as little as possible.

thanks chris, i already checked there. definitely checked out those enkeis. but they come with 4 more tires and 2 more rims than i want. especially for $925. even though thats a great price, cause the rims alone are ~$800. tires are probably another $600.

i want something in the sub $200 range. preferably sub $150 shipped range.
