Autopower Ind. has been around for over 25 yrs. They made the cage that I used in my RX7 race car. If you get a 6 pt cage from them, you will get a roll bar and the weld in pieces to finish off the cage. Using 2 inch tubing for a roll hoop is overkill. It will add too much weight to the car. Go to the SCCA website and download their GCR rule book. Inside will be the specifications for building a roll bar/cage. If it passes SCCA specs, it will pass everybody else's.
Autopower builds their product to meet SCCA specs.

I have their street / strip (http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=117063&page=3) bar in my car. Getting it sent to New Jersey was a problem but the bar itself is well made. You being close to their shop shop prevent the problems I had.
