MazdaSpeed kit
For those with this kit (front and side skirts), how much lower to the ground is it?
I ask because I have lowered my car 1.5 " at the front and 3/4 " at the back and want to know whether I will have a problem with this kit in the winter. Anyone have experience with this? Thx

Scott, you will definately scrape. As you know im lowered on H Techs and i can barely fit the front of my foot under the front bumper and the ground.
For winter i plan on swapping the MS bumper back out to my stock one.
I think the S Techs only lower by 1 inch as well. I do have to be careful when i drive as i do scrape sometimes. But thats why i put the Carbon splitters on, so they get scraped and not the bumper.

Thanks for the feedback Kris. My S tech's lower it 1.5" at the front. Based upon your description, I wonder whether I will get up my driveway
If you get a chance, can you measure the exact clearing you have at the front. I assume that I will a half inch less than what you have.
Do you keep the sideskirts on in the winter? Do they pose a problem?
Good idea about the carbon splitters, where would I get a hold of something like that?

Two of these threads at the same time? Weird.

MS kit with Tein S-Techs = 4.18" clearance.

Planning on driving sideways a lot?
I don't have a MS kit. The numbers are from others linked above. Here's a pic of a car with them tho so you can judge yourself.

^ lol... Hate crunch them over speed bumps or through the snow. I think they require drilling to install, so you wouldn't want to remove them in the winter I wouldn't think.
Thx for the feedback and links.

I just put the front bumper on last week and mesaured that it was 1.5" lower than the stock bumper. Sideskirts are being installed right now so i'm not sure how much lower they are.
Scott, the last 2 winters i didnt have the car lowered, but i was okay in the winter. But now i have the car lowered, I know it will be a pain. So im not sure what im going to do . I will get some measurements for you.
