Just bought a VR sport RX8 and i was wonderin whats a good color to paint the brake calibers does anyone have any sweet pics of VR's with nice calibers?

Personally if I had a red I would stick to a neutral color. Black - Silver depending on how much you want the calipers to show.

I have seen numerous reds that had red calipers but the downside to that is red is so hard to match and then the red doesn't accent nicely because there is so much red.

G2 paint holds up quite well from what I have heard the G2 is better than the Duplicolor. I have blue G2 on my silver and it has held up quite nice.

go with black and get a red stencil to put RX-8 on there. That would look AWESOME!

That looks real real nice. Makes me want to paint mine on my VR. I only have 3/4 of one right now though :(

Actually Red looks like crap on VR.

You can't get them to match. The color is so far off you look like a goon with a riced out 8.

I have red on my TiGrey and they look like ass from now on its silver or black,,, black FTW...

Black is pretty classic.
you can do something wild though, if you want. but dont overdo it.
every car is allowed one "piece of flair"
if you have two or more, it is rice. a black car w. red calipers is fine.
a white car. blue calipers is fine.
a blue car w. yellow or green is pretty neat too...
just dont then get stripes to match the calipers, then match the strakes, then some stickers, a bigger wing, wheels covered in rivets, a hood scoop, some carbon magnet vents, vortex fins, also more stickers....
sigh...

I just had my calipers painted yellow... I wanted something that stuck out alot!
