so I've been thinking. I'm a long time "information absorber" here...way way too much. I've been thinking about giving some new Rx-8 owners some advice on interesting style pieces to help them get a pleasing/baddass/aggressive/luxury look to their rx-8 (style is subjective I know but there is a generally common consensus.) I want to begin this thread with my own personal advice to a look that I think would be extremely unique, acceptable, and affortable (thats relative.)

Here are the pieces and the links to just one very complete look:

"Burnout" Lip, to give the car an aggressive stance with classy minimal lines, you can get it from Shine Autobody right here on this forum in the group buy section I think.

Two side peices of the front of the X-men Kit (by itself its horrendous.) This gives the lower part of the car some luxurious eye candy to draw attention to. I could only find one link, but a website exists where you can buy just each piece alone (even "Erebuni" might still have some) here's a pic:

A black/or body painted or even carbon fiber "LEG Motorsports" bumper grill would finish off the accent of the front by combining the unique lower section with the headlights :

for a minimalistic look which would help balance out a busy front end "Chargespeed" side skirts:

for a rim choice I would go with "Weds Sport SA-67R" as they are very aggressive yes classy in either gunmetal or dark chrome, 19" all around, staggered at 9" and 10" with a +34 and +30 offset if you're not going to the track:

Euro side mirrors just because:

Please ask in the Europe forum, or maybe Lazi.

For a rear end I would go with a bumper the keeps the lines close the to body of the car because of the minimal side skirts such as "Kenstyle" (contact Shine Autobody), the 2009 RX-8 bumper or if they ever get around to making it the "Aria Engineering" supercharged RX-8 bumper:

more pics of Aria here: http://images.rotarynews.com/images/MazdaSpeedRX-8/target0.html (http://g.imageshack.us/g.php?h=360&i=mazdarx8evolveldz2.jpg)

for a spoiler I would also choose something minimal to keep the back-end in proportion (again due to the side skirts) such as Euro Spoiler, Varis or Knight Sport (yes they make a spoiler and a wing), I wont give you links to those, do some homework ;)

Taillights from clearcorners.com (yeah right)

Hood doesnt really need to be touched unless you want to clean up the look even more, "Re-Amemiya" and or "Panspeed" sell a hood without the triangle insert. I would simply recommend this hood as a compliment to the new bumper grill which is all horizontal lines with the X-men side grills.

For an exhaust (damn near any, "Exoticspeed" or "Re-Amemiya" Super Dolphin [contact Lazi] are favorites) I would get a 2" length extended angle cut tips to give the car a very slight trapezoidal V.I.P. style look.

and finally heres my attempt at a photoshop job with them all:
