Rusty nut holes around my stock oem spoiler....
Does anyone else have rust forming around the nuts that hold down their stock spoiler?
If I remove the stock spoiler to fix/stop the rusting does anyone have any tips? I plan on using a metal brush and sand paper and then painting over the exposed metal with Rustoleum spray paint.

It looks like you got the right idea for the fix. except since the area may be small I would avoid using spray paint and just use some anti rust touch up paint.
When I installed my OEM spoiler I painted over the exposed metal with an anti-rust touchup paint after I drilled the holes then painted over it with VR touchup and so far so good.
Hope that helps
