hello! I dont have an RX8... yet... but i've been reading alot of post on how people are dissapointed at the mp3 player mazda offers. been doing some holiday window shopping and ran accross this thing. Is there a place around the front of the RX8 to mount the cradle for this? (double sided tape ???) would be kinda cool to just put the mp3 player into teh cradle in your car and you have 20GB of music at your dispposal it has RCA outputs in the back so i'm assuming you could hook it up to an amp. what do you guys think? the review is here http://gear.ign.com/articles/458/458401p1.html

The problem in the eight isn't finding interesting source units, it's getting a quality signal from the source unit into the head unit. Device "hacks" or fm modulators are the only current options until an adaptor hits the market.

The other alternative is gutting most of the audio equipment in the 8 and replacing it.
