hi...i have an o4 rx8 that i want to boost soon, but i don't know where to turn....i wanna use this car for a fun street car but also have a nice setup for a lil drift....i would like to piece out a turbo kit that would give a good amount of boost for my needs.....what should be the recommended lbs of boost i should have on the car without blowing the motor...what size turbo...and injectors...the car only have 17,000 miles...im trying make it seem as if it rolled of the showroom floor with a turbo....i was told to use the same turbo off the mazdaspeed miata....suggestions?

well, without posts....the forum isnt active. A forum full of lurkers is useless. Instead of saying use the search....why not just say " i have no idea". Or let someone else answer.

I have multiple ideas, and I found them all by reading the information that is in plain sight. I'll be nice:

It was at the top of the "Major Horsepower Upgrades" page (same one this thread is posted on). List a price range, power level you're looking for, more info basically. With what you listed, I could just as easily say every kit available for the 8.

Oh, and get a kit actually made for the 8... I dont know how well the turbo you asked about would work in an rx8 application, but if you have to do a bunch of custom fabrication, it's probably just better to go with a kit.

I admit, some people are too harsh on this forum. Others are too soft. Many are too lazy.
