I'll look but not absolutely certain what you are after.

There is a bolt on the side of the engine to drain coolant. right above the engine oil level sensor.

Im blind, I've been starring at the service manual for like an hour I still cant seems to locate the bolt and gasket :(

Man, it's not easy tracking down this part number. I did manage to find the bracket that's right next to the engine coolant drain bolt. It's on 6701A Engine & Transmission Wiring Harnesses (page 256) part 18-054. I know it's not the bolt, but it's a lead.

Its just a regular 12mm bolt with an aluminum washer.
I think its M8x1.50.
Just get one at the auto parts store or Ace Hardware (if you can't find your original).

I was thinking of that too (just get generic one).

*sigh* .... Mazda ...

I spent like probably 2 hours to read the service manual, from first page to the last, then back to the first. Still cant find it :(

Its time for Generic stuff ...

Yea, generic it is, I looked for it, the pictures of the center housing you can see the hole for it at the bottom. You should find a titanium one, to save weight and be ridiculously hardcore :)

neither the bolt nor the crush gasket washer are listed in the parts manual

I suspect that the crush gasket washer is the same as the oil pan drain bolt gasket

if you get a generic bolt it needs to be the right material. I believe the existing bolt is brass, but aluminum or stainless steel will work. A steel bolt may be easier to find, but may have a corrosion issue long term.

Is just kind of funny that Mazda missed this in their service manual for so many years without knowing it :(

I guess I'll have to find it on my own :)

Thx for stopping by Team :)

Think I would be tempted to use stainless, but not sure.

AHHH, why havent I thought of that ?

When I was browsing MMS's stock part page, they have some new scan pages on the left side thats much cleaner than the parts.pdf that they have on the site. I always wonder if they added any new parts to it. Ahh huh !

Nice find ! Thanks man ! :)

How have I failed? I know the number, and have the part......looks like you are the one who failed. Again.

Then tell me how I failed when Mazda didnt put the part into the manual in the first place ?
