In the next couple weeks, i'll be getting new tires/wheels for my rx8 and selling mine. I have the 18" factory chrome wheels that are overall in good condition. There are some spots where the chrome is peeling, but they still look GREAT! When they are clean, they will blind you in the sun. The tires are cooper and 225/45/18. They all have probably 70 percent tread left. Like i said, when i get a buyer for these, i will buy new ones so it won't take you too long to get them. PM or reply if you are interested!

 

Will be willing to ship anywhere in the US or Canada, and also, would sell just the wheels if requested. Preferably as a set though. Asking 1000 plus shipping. The wheels alone are worth around 1200-1500 plus the cost of tires.

Chrome is peeling and no pics?

 

I will be glad to take as many pictures as needed, i just want someone to be serious before i take them and upload them. The wheels are peeling in a couple of spots, but it's nothing real bad

Just out of curiousity.......any idea what caused the chrome to peel?

I have non-oem chromes and they have not had that problem.

And for the record, YES, chrome wheels look good on the RX8, and NO, they are not too flashy. Check out my pics, they look great on BB.

 

I am going out right now to take the pics, the coopers haven't been plugged, they are in very good condition. The back ones have only been used for about 2-3 months, and the front ones have only been used about 4-5 months. All the miles they have on them is highway. BRB with the pics. BTW, i used to live in WV and they put salt everywhere on the roads to help with the ice, and i think that caused the peeling, but i no longer have that problem in KY
