A) There were no RX-8's in attendance.
B) The S2000's took 2 years to become "sorted" and be Nationally competitive.
C) My RX-8 is already competing at the same pace as the Boxster that finished in 11th place after two events (and we are still sorting the handlig - it is not yet to our liking)

Time will tell. We have a National Tour in Houston in April 2004, and I expect most of those listed above to be in attendance. We are going to try and have the car to our liking by then, and use this as our barometer. I think we'll be fine.

You know, his anniversary IS in April, so you never know!

You would have been (and will be) my first phone call if he can't make it.

WTH, my car weights over 3500lbs and it's in the same class as the S2000?

BS where there are no longer S2Ks, Boxters, and Z4s. I'd suggest trying to enter a street tire class if you have one locally, unless you don't mind not having much of a chance moving up the ranks (or you could drop money on new wheels, hoosiers or similar, and the few legal mods). Saying unmodified cars compete in stock class is a bit misleading.

In fact, no offense to Supercharger, but ignore most of what he posted in his first post because much of it is misleading if you don't know much about SCCA. Go take a look at these http://www.autocross.com/ http://www.moutons.org/sccasolo/ and the SCCA site.
