Hi guys and gals,

The Tennessee Valley Rx8 club is in the planning stages of a drive out to Cheaha MTN, June 28th (Tentatively), just south of Anniston. If anyone in the area is interested in meeting us YELL! This last week's club meeting was the largest gathering we've had, in the 18 months we've been together. There were 16 8's there, and an FD and I'd say 20+ people. It was great!

Usually we try to hit as many twisties as we can coming and going, so we want you all to join us for a great days drive! If anyone knows of a good place to eat,a BBQ or with some decent choices, speak up. Someone from that area will know better than we do!

UPDATE!:

All is set guys for the Cheaha run. Our lunch place is closing at 2 so we'll need to be on time. They can accommodate us and are willing to stay a little late, but They are leaving on vacation so we won't want to hold them up to bad. I think if we get together and are there by noon we'll be fine.

Cool make sure you bring a walkie and extra batteries. There should be about 15 cars altogether if everyone shows, so we'll need some form of communication.

The TVRX8.org site has the complete details, ( register, we don't bite!) LOL and I guess ya'll can set up a meet for a caravan there.

I ask that you be on time though. We only have a 2 hour window for lunch, and a large crowd to take care of.

For all those IN B'ham, where would be a convenient area to meet? Seeing as how we'll need to get on 20E, is there a common place we could meet at of of 20 (I'm fairly new to the area)?

exit 158 i believe. il ride by tomorrow and make sure but i believe that is it.. once you are on that exit ramp.. take a left onto 231 and youll cross the interstate and you will see wally world on your right

Depending of course on where you live will be where you hit 20, but It's not that far from "downtown B'ham" I don't think.

OK guys keep recruitin, and watch all the sites....Weather may be a factor, but I'll make a decision early. As posted on the TVrx8 site.....unless it looks like we will have thunderstorm/lighting...we are good to go. My cell is listed in the event on that site ok.
