TVRX8.ORG June 28th Cheaha MTN Driveout
 

Hi guys and gals,

The Tennessee Valley Rx8 club is in the planning stages of a drive out to Cheaha MTN, June 28th (Tentatively), just south of Anniston. If anyone in the area is interested in meeting us YELL! This last week's club meeting was the largest gathering we've had, in the 18 months we've been together. There were 16 8's there, and an FD and I'd say 20+ people. It was great!

Usually we try to hit as many twisties as we can coming and going, so we want you all to join us for a great days drive! If anyone knows of a good place to eat,a BBQ or with some decent choices, speak up. Someone from that area will know better than we do!

+Bump for a heads up! We are gouging interest in a new sister club out of Birmingham too, so ya'll let us know if you are interested!

I am game for the drive out Laura! I will get some suggestions together for places to eat also.

I would also be interested in the sister club down here.

COOL Kyle! Spread the word. I think there's a thread on the MRCCAL site about a previous try at getting something like this together. Give it a bump and link this thread please.

Glad you are back in the area, and I'm sure mom and dad are too.! Next time you get up here, you better drop a line on the club site so we can get together! Maybe make a meeting?

UPDATE!:

All is set guys for the Cheaha run. Our lunch place is closing at 2 so we'll need to be on time. They can accommodate us and are willing to stay a little late, but They are leaving on vacation so we won't want to hold them up to bad. I think if we get together and are there by noon we'll be fine.

Hi Dzire! Welcome to the 8club! Be sure and check out the link in an upper post for the drive out directions for the run if you want to come and get with some of the locals in your area. We would love to have you!

Cool make sure you bring a walkie and extra batteries. There should be about 15 cars altogether if everyone shows, so we'll need some form of communication.

The TVRX8.org site has the complete details, ( register, we don't bite!) LOL and I guess ya'll can set up a meet for a caravan there.

I ask that you be on time though. We only have a 2 hour window for lunch, and a large crowd to take care of.

im able to caraven if you want.. but in pell city.. which is the in-between for bham and anniston..

For all those IN B'ham, where would be a convenient area to meet? Seeing as how we'll need to get on 20E, is there a common place we could meet at of of 20 (I'm fairly new to the area)?
