Since my car is a 2004 and got it back in 2003 the balck plastic has seen beeter days. I have tried Mothers Back to Black and it worked alirght. I came across Mequiars Exterior Trim Coating The spray nozzle allowed me to reach every spot of the rear bumper, side vents and up by the bottom of the windshiled. The plastic looks brand new.

Here is what the Mequiars Website says
Exterior Trim Coating shines and protects all non-painted plastic, trim and rubber surfaces with an adjustable spray nozzle to minimize overspray. The fast and easy application provides dark, rich, instant shine without leaving behind an oily residue, and helps protect from fading and cracking leaving behind the natural, original look. In one easy step, Exterior Trim Detailer shines and protects all rock guard panels, wheel-wall guards, bumpers, side mirrors, trim, moldings and more. Even works great on interior plastic surfaces. Easily remove any overspray from paint with a Supreme Shine® Microfiber.

I'll try this if I can find it locally... on a side note, how do you clean the calcium deposits in these plastic areas? Specifically the lower windshield area and all of the grilles.

Never used it, but I'll def try in the future. Right now I am using the rest of my Turtle wax ICE, though its ment for the paint it does a great job also on plastic trim.

that's all i use turtle wax ice for. it doesn't help my paint, but it does shine up the plastic. once i use it all i'll probably get some meguiar's. but i have so much ice left........

I also noticed that if I get wax on a plastic piece and its hard to remove that the Turtle wax ICE will take it right off.

Believe it or not, but I use peanut oil to clean the black plastic, and it looks brand new every time. The oil takes all the crap off the plastic, and its cheap. For the calcium stains, I roll with the vinegar as well.
