Yes it is standard in Australia. No, I don't believe it is standard in the US. Do a search of the Audio and Electronics forum for more info.

No. I have it, but it is an "order: item. In the states you have the option of ordering a cassette player, a MP3 Player, or the In dash 6-CD player. The standard configuration is a single disc. I am glad I ordered the 6.. Good day!!

yeah, it should have been standard here....lower priced cars such as the rsx type S have a 6 stacker standard.

It also has 2 doors, no rear headroom, less horsepower, less torque, 4 cylinders, no power seat, 16-inch wheels, no available nav, and no zoom-zoom. Don't get me wrong: I like the RSX for what it is, but don't diss the '8 just because the Type S has standard 6-disc and the '8 doesn't.

I bought the GT package and added the 6-disk CD player at a cost of $400 since the only car immediately available in my color with the NAV and AT had it installed. I wish I didn't have it. I would much rather have the MP3 player, I think. I was particularly disappointed that the "random" function will not span CDs, but when I realized how long it takes to move between CD1 and CD6, I guess I understand why.

I have the six changer
I like it but it takes long to go from one cd to the next
