Three new March 2008 TSBs: http://www.finishlineperformance.com/store/pages.php?pageid=11

Has anyone go them done in SF Bay area dealerships? Has anyone had them done at Capitol or Oak Tree Mazda in San Jose area?

Just curious about experiences. Am going to go into dealership to get oil change sooner than later and will have them do the flash for me.

i recently got the MSP16 done in socal. no difference in power here. i probably did not have power loss. maybe what i was feeling was the rx8's fundamental lack of power lol

got the reflash done a couple of weeks ago, at Diablo Mazda in Walnut Creek.
Can't really feel much difference, though. will be interesting to see if oil consumption goes up w/ change in oil metering. as w/ my old Mazda dealer, they seemed to have purposely over-filled the engine oil. it makes me mad...yet I keep forgetting to tell them not to do this:spank:
Anyway, took the car to AutoCross yesterday and engine felt strong.

Thanks for the replies so far. Will be interesting to see if oil and gas usage go up or down.

had the flash done earlier this month. car felt stronger, and the oil temps seem to be staying quite low... so far highest being 210degree and it haven't gotten higher, so good.

and also working on measuring the mpg. i will put what i get, as i need to get a general idea what i get outta my 8.

so far, the flash seems ok. it seems to be eager after 6k to redline now, as opposed to before. so in that way...its pretty solid.

You take the car into a mazda dealer for a reflash on the ECU?

Well smartass there can be several ways to do it. If you knew anything about computers you'd know that. Dont know about the RX8 but I know there could be several for the Prelude.

did anyone have their engine tested and clean with this or the other lack of power tsb?
