Just found a P00138 CEL code... might be electrical short or malfunction sensor located near the cat/exhaust.

Anyone has any Idea of a Replacement O2 sensor that is usable for a 6mt else then oem?

Found online there are quite a variation of NB O2 sensors.. my guess is the 4 wires ones will fit any ideas?

Front O2 sensor cost about 240

Rear cost less, like 1/2 the price I think

Its a PAIN to replace the front O2 sensor ... Rear is a piece of cake.

Sparkplugs.com has replacement O2 sensors for $142 each (front and rear are the same, but you may need both). Good place for plugs too.

BTW - you need to look them up as a 2004 model year as they do not list them for newer model years for some strange reason - they are all the same.

Quick question: How many O2 sensors are there in total?

2 in total, Front and Rear.

The front is located B4 the cat converter, on top of the pipe.

the rear is by the Cat converter (more like after), on the side.

Not any 4 wire O2 sensor will work as regards throwing a CEL, but may work OK otherwise.
According to the workshop manual the front O2 sensor heater element resistance must be between 2.16 ohms and 2.9 ohms. If the resistance is outside this you will get a CEL.

Just get some stock one, or OE replacement.

Replace them every 50K miles. Like I said I just replaced my front and Im around 39.3 K miles. not like I have a CEL or anything, They took the tranny down to replace the clutch, its all out, so why not replace it ? :)
