Up for sale are OEM Mazda tail lights that have been professionally tinted red. High gloss was also applied to the tail lights, giving them a real OEM look (tail lights are shinier than they appear in the provided pictures. The pictures don't grasp the full-shine effect). I attached a lot of pictures so you can get an idea of how beautiful the shade of red is. They are both in perfect condition. The only flaw I can think of is a small section of clear coat that dried unevenly on the driver side taillight (can be seen in picture #6, the squiggly line above the brake light) but that part gets covered by your trunk when the taillights are installed. Both tail lights come with original harnesses and bulbs.

$150 including shipping! SOLD!!!!!!!!!

(the "dots" you see in picture #3 is just dust that the flash of the camera captured)

Sorry, I retract my dibs. A little too much money for me. If there are no takers and you want to sell them for less, PM me your offer and I'll see if it's within the range I want to spend. Again, sorry for the inconveinence.

Aside from the cost of making them, there is also alot of labor involved as well. Figure the cost for regular taillights alone run somewhere around 80-90 bucks...now add on sanding, paint coats, clear coats, time...

its an easy DIY. i've done it twice, and smoked my friend's s2000 tails. but i agree yours are a good price for being professionally done.

how's the rearward visibility when backing up? any trouble with the po-po for not having a white backup light?

Well since its purely red, when in reverse, you no longer have that bright white light behind you...but its not a big deal. i had another set just like these on my car for awhile and that really wasnt a problem.

As far as cops are concerned, you have to be really unlucky for them to notice it. Since theyre red like almost ever other car on the streets, they just blend right in.
