On all cars I've owned up to this point when your window was covered with morning due I would put the windows down and let the weather stripping squeegy the window for me. On my RX-8 only a small portion of the passenger window and none of the drivers window gets cleared. Does anybody else notice this on their car?

Yes, I have noticed little leaves getting stuck (or falling) between my window and the rubber... a total pain to get out sometimes. The gap is more than I have seen on my previous cars. Maybe this is the reason our windows go up and down so fast! :D
