I ordered axis reverbs here in Canada a couple months ago and recently called to check on the order. The reverbs aren't being made anymore or are being phased out or something. Anyways, can't get them or even if a set could be found, I don't think I could easily get another if one was damaged. Went through the same thing with 5-zigen FN01R-C.

Finally decided to get the Axis Halo in black without a coloured stripe. The stripe is apparently just hand painted on and there's no bevel or anything that would look weird without a stripe (like it's missing something). Just black. So I'm hoping they will look alright.

I won't get them on until spring but when I do I'll post a pic on my BB so people can get a sense of what a Halo looks like with no stripe. It seems alittle weird to get a halo without the stripe, isn't that the point? But I really like the wheel and it's pretty light (19.8 lbs, 40 offset, 8.5 x 18) so that's what I chose.

 

Sweet, you'll have to DEFINITELY make a trip to Ottawa w/ those puppies on your BB!!!

Nice. I always wanted to see these on a BB. Yeah, like what nuke said, I want to see the Super Hiros on an 8 as well. I think the redstripe on the BB would look so sexy.

I've been considering new wheel choices since my stocks are a mess, I see that you guys are in full support of the super hiros with the red stripe but what about super hiros with the yellow stripe on a bb?
