ALBANY MEET AND DRIVE. March 16th.

ALBANY MEET AND DRIVE. March 16th.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

We will be meeting at Abby's Pizza in Albany on March 16th. at 2pm, have lunch and go for a drive up Mary's peak.
Directions: Take I-5 to Albany exit 233. Go west on Hwy. 20 about 2 blocks. Abby's Pizza will be on the right.
Address: 3033 Santiam Hwy SE, Albany, OR 97322
We will have lunch for about an hour or so, then head up to Mary's peak. Its only about an hour away from Abby's and the drive is a blast.
If we are lucky and the weather is good, we might see a RX-3, or a REPU. Lets cross our fingers for that one!
If you need more info, or have questions feel free to PM me.
Hope to see you all there, Robert.

This has in the past been a meet of RX-7's however we are trying to get more rotary powered cars, and would love to see a few RX-8's...
Hope some of you can make it.

Oh the roads are fun!!! lots of tight banks and once you get up a bit its all new pavement. They repaved it last year. It real nice. I think you guys will love it. Also a great view of the Willamette Valley and you can even see the Pacific if its a clear day.
Hope to see you all there, Robert.

Hmmmmm. Darn, if I'd started my current job a week earlier I'd make the trip down there for this. Unfortunately, it's a bit too much of stretch on the old fuel budget.

that's a good question. i'm down here in corvallis and wouldn't mind knowing if we're still meeting. I'll still be at the restaurant around 2, and the weather is cloudy but not raining. The roads are dry for the most part.

It was nice getting a chance to meet you Robert and all the other rx-7 owners. Thanks for setting that up. Hopefully it'll get warmer sooner than later for the next meets

I'm glad pdxhack was able to come down as well and help represent the rx-8's

It's too bad i forgot my camera and the batteries in my friend's camera died before we were able to take more than 1 picture ....so if you could find out who all took pictures and post them, that would be great ^^

Thank you guys as well. I had a few other 8's lined up, but they had to work that day. I'm real glad the 2 of you showed up and I'm glad you had fun. I plan on setting up a few more drives in the near future once the good weather hits. I hope you guys can make it to those as well. Mary's peak is a very fun road when its not covered in snow.
I will do my best to get more RX-8's to make it to the next drive.
Thanks again guys, Robert.
