I just talked with Cam over at Pettit Racing. He tells me that he is a distributor for the EFIDude DataLogger (and soon to be reflasher). He says it will be up on his web site shortly.

Apparently this is the tool he has been using for almost a year to do all his development.

It is nice to see a well respected authorized vendor sharing the tools that make them so successful.

Thanks Cam!

...Lola, for being salty about efidude marketing a tool using partly "your" work without your permission you sure are promoting the hell out of this logger/flasher. I mean, hey, is good your hard feelings apparently have been squashed but it just seems a lil odd....eh, i really could care less as long as the logger/flasher works as well as the claims! LOL No worries.

I am in therapy for the using without my permission b*tching. Not going to go there again. Anyway, it was not EFIDude.

On the flip side, the EFIDudes are straight up and whatever they want of mine, they are welcome to.........

ah, so now it makes sense all the complaining about the Harrison's reflasher.

I personally don't care. May whoever makes the best tool reap the rewards.

^yea seriously! Because this reflasher sounds like a really good idea. I want to skid the ultimate and reprogram the pcm for the turbo.

It seems pretty sound, and with Pettit backing/utilizing it, i would suspect it has a certain level of legitimacy. Will find out soon enough exactly how much.

Therapy is great, especially if it involves taking sharp turns at Watkins Glen at 170+ mph... :eyetwitch

BTW, I really am a big FI fan. I am particularly interested when it is 2.65L with 5 psi of boost and 900 BHp!

Funny I thought you were a downforce fan also--maybe over a ton of downforce?:)

The EFIDude logger/reflasher definitely has potential. Everybody just has to wait to they actually release the Pro-Tune for RX-8. To see how well it works and its features.
