Xantium and I made a deal on those same springs too. I told him I would send payment pending some better pics, since the posted ones only showed 2 springs. He never contacted me back, so I didn't send money.

I saw he is listing some more items for sale, so I asked what happened to the deal we made previously. He told me he sold them. Sounded fishy that he stopped the deal when I asked for pics.

Sounds like a scam artist to me. Sorry to hear that solelife. I hope you paid by credit card or paypal. If so, make a dispute claim.

Keep us posted on what happens. I'm curious to know if he is a scammer or if he just lacks communication skills. I hope everything works out for you.

Boo for the bad guy! I don't know what's worse.. Getting scammed or getting an item that is not as good as described in the sale. Hope you can work things out with the guy..

If you noticed I didn't post anything about you in your for sale thread. I wasn't trying to bring your image down over what may have been a misunderstanding, but I feel obliged to speak up when the other person involved didn't get what he paid for.

We did in fact agree on a price. $110 shipped was the offer you PM'ed me. To which I replied I was just waiting on pics to send money. After a couple of days, I wasn't holding my breath that you would come through, though and decided something didn't seem right. You could have at least told me you were too lazy or too busy to take better pics. Something! Rather than just sell to someone else.

I don't care about not buying the springs from you. The price wasn't that great anyway. I was just trying to tell you that you could probably communicate better with people than you do.

BTW, what could I possibly have to gain by making this up? I'm not here to create enemies. I'm here for the information, ideas on projects, and parts for sale.

Just clear this up with solelife and everything's good again.

Stop trying to get people riled up. I'm sure Xantium will get this cleared up with solelife. As for the PM's unfortunately I deleted my copies about a week and a half ago, since this took place quite a while ago. As I said, something didn't seem right and maybe it was a misunderstanding, so I thought, "Why hold on to them? The deal's obviously not going to happen." I didn't know they had been sold to someone else until the other day and didn't have any reason to believe that I would need copies for some unforeseen event like this.

Not that this is important, because this thread is really about solelife and Xantium getting this thing cleared up.

I feel compelled to comment, but first a disclaimer: I am not saying good or bad, I am neutral on the issue; I simply want to relay my experience with Xantium. He listed a RB intake and duct a while back, I PMed and asked for pics. It took a while to get the pics, but it was the holidays and people are busy so I didn’t think much of it. I sent payment, but I didn’t hear anything until a few days later when a package arrived in the mail. It was nice that the items were shipped quickly after payment, but he did not send a message with a tracking number or anything of that sort. When I began to install the intake I soon realized that there was none of the hardware that came with the kit, which I wasn’t too worried about, but thought I would ask Xantium, as it wasn’t really specified in the for sale thread that there wasn’t any hardware with the kit. I sent him a few e-mails and he replied to the first two, but when I asked him if he still had the mounting brackets for the engine cover bushings and if he knew the thread pitch of the nuts that were suppose to come with the kit, I didn’t get a reply. Take from this what you will.
