why is it so hard to find many body kits for the rx8 is it because it is so new or what? i have only been able to find like 4-5 of them and they are not my style.

The car has only existed for about 7 months now. It takes time to develope these kits. There's several links in the apearance section with all the different body kits linked in.

INGS, 2 Veilside, MS, RE Ameniya, R-Magic, Autoexe, Buddy, etc. There's almost 10 I think already.

the only one i really like is the veilside version 2 where can i purchse this when ready? the site that shows it in the post above doesnt seem to have a buy button they just show prices.

anyone that can tell me what a typical paint job on a body kit will cost me? i know they come plain and need to be painted with my car's color.

also what is a good place to get decals and crap put on the car like a lot of the mod cars have?

i will be taking a run to the local car accessory store 'Big Boys Toys' friday to check out what they offer.

Or if sustaining high speeds, to make sure the tires don't reach an unsafe operating temperature.:)

The veilside package looks nice as well. What does it take to modify the doors to this style? Is that something the average/pro shop can do or do you have to have the skills and do it yourself?

You have to search the threads to find a vendor.

If I were you, I'd do this: Pick out your top 2 or 3 kits. During your research, if you don't find vendor names, throw the question out again and see if anyone knows. There's too many kits on the market now to just ask generically "Where can I get all the kits" as it could be as many as 25 different vendors, and no one can tell you who they all are without spending lots of time compiling the list. But if you ask, for instance, "Where can I get the Mazdaspeed and RE-Amemiya kits?" I could tell you to check with Trussville and Rosenthal Mazda for the MS kit, and Japanparts.com for the RE-Amemiya.

Anyone know where I can get the door conversion kit that i saw on the vellside 8 on page 5 of this thread. It is sweet and maybe if the price is right.

the door conversion is nice but i couldnt see it going for any less than $2000 and IMO that is too much, it also looks like they may keep the back doors from opening.

Anyone know where I can find a better pic of the R Magic 2 rear end? I like their front lip spoiler and side skirts, but looking at the pic of the back, I can't tell what it looks like. The car in the photo is black and it's hard to make out what the back piece looks like. I'd like to see the back of the yellow car that they show from the front. Any help would be appreciated.

Arg i just found out that all the JDM bodykit's front bumpers doesnt retain the use of the stock re-bar......

there goes my idea of getting any....... 1st of all its illegal to be without the re-bar and secondly i dont want to risk my life in a head on collision.......

hey thanks for the informations, that helps a lot, at least by now i know it's from styleking. but it's said that the lip is carbon fiber, but in the pictures of the porject, in the november section, it's white..... look like some fiber class to me...

alright, I love the lip, so I called superautobacs usa store, they said it's totally possible for them to get that lip here from japan. BUT i have to go to their store in person to put down a deposit which is like 600 dollar that includs everything. now, it'll cost me 6 hours to get there, and 6 to come back. then another 6 hours to pick it up and 6 hours to come back. do anyone of you guys have a better idea or do I have another option on the lip?

That RMAGIC wide body kit is absolutely sweet! The color scheme blows, but the kit is insane!!!

I am getting a body kit for my 8....but I did not want one that was to "over the edge" So after careful consideration I have decided to go with the mazdaspeed front and side (on order now). But I do not like the MS rear. I am still trying to decide what rear end to order, so to help me out I did on montage of the rear ends like one was done for the front ends. Hope you like it.

If you want something solid and not too "over the edge" i think the AUTO-EXE rear end would be best for you. or possibly INGS

What's with the NRF bodykit? It's quite reminiscent of the big-mouth hibachi kits of 2000. If NRF incorporated it into a wide-body kit, that would be cool :cool:. Also, check out what Ab-Flug is doing.

the way i see it the nrf front is the only one so far that would even come close to alowing enough air flow to a good turbo and still have enough for the rad and both oil coolers. i dont think they did a good enough job painting all the crap behind the openings so that you dont realy see it though. just wait and see what im going to do with bothe of them on one car:D

It´s in southern europe... An island just outside Italy in the midterrainian.

HimsElf - My experience is that bodykits are much cheaper in the US och in Japan. Take a look at the first side of this thread and simply e-mail some of the venders selling the kit you want. Most of them ship orders internationally without any problems. There are some euopean vendors as well, but they are more expensive...
