I rec'd an email from my dealership alerting me to the 22,500 checkup. From what I can tell this is merely an oil change and lubing various things. I'm deadly faithful with my 3K oil changes, obtained the 15K checkup, but is this this 22,500 absolutely necessary and would it be a violation to my warranty if I were to skip it in favor of the next BIG checkup?
Thanks.

No, they send these out as yearly mileage estimates. Go for the 30K if your worried about it, or getting it next spring should be fine.

Go do it only if you have too much time and money to waste.

Make sure to change your plugs before 30k miles.
