Went to the UPS site to get a rough idea on how much shipping would be, rather then walking into my UPS store carrying my MS bumper. Im selling a MS front and rear bumper, anyone know how much shipping would be for it. I came up with a number around 150$. No idea if that was legit or not. Seemed a bit high. I understand how far shipping makes a different, but for now, lets say from NJ to Cali. Thanks guys.

I'd suggest looking at http://www.shipgreyhound.com/
It should be cheaper for such a large item.
I ran a quote from newark., nj to san jose, ca and it came up 58 bucks.

Yep I got some Eclipse bumpers this way and it was around $50 from IL to TX a several years ago. They put them under the bus. Can't remember how long it took to ship - seems like it was under a week.

Sweet. I have to ship from NJ to somewhere upstate NY. Was going to drive there, but turns out it was going to be a 5 hour drive. The only thing that sucks with greyhound, is I have to drive to Newark to ship it out =X Thanks guys.

By the way, when you guys go to the post office to get a quote, do you really bring the bumper into the store and ask for a quote? I was going to go to the UPS store, but it seemed odd for me to walk in with a huge bumper ;)

You should be able to get a quote with just the weight and box dimensions.

If you lived around Texas and Oklahoma Bever Express would ship that bumper for around $25.00.

also their site says "The extreme measurements of length, width, and height shall not exceed 30" x 47" x 82"." well the length of the bumper is 72" did they give anyone a problem when you shipped out bumpers?

UPS will ship it for you, you can even bring it to their shipping center(NOT UPS STORE!) and they can figure something out for you. but the shipping gonna cost at least 60-70 bux + the price of the packaging material (if you want them to pack it for you)
