Anyone have a wright up on installing the Rp supercat, i couldn't find it in the DIY forums. if so can i take a look at it please. thanks

View Full Version : Need DIY Rp Supercat SebtownRx8 01-19-2008, 08:15 PM Anyone have a wright up on installing the Rp supercat, i couldn't find it in the DIY forums. if so can i take a look at it please. thanks NgoRX8 01-19-2008, 08:31 PM not too bad. the hard part is getting the bolts loose and o2 sensor off. working on jackstands makes little room work the stuff off. loosen underbrace remove the 3 nuts and bolts up front remove the 2 bolts w/ spring in back take off of hanger unplug o2 sensor remove stock cat remove o2 sensor from cat install o2 sensor on supercat install supercat plug in o2 sensor bolt back up, put in hanger re-install underbrace. done. may require someone to pull(tug) on the exhaust from the back to allow room to get the cat free. StealthTL 01-19-2008, 08:44 PM Important tip - the three bolts up front undo from the 'header' side. The rear is a splined stud, even though it has a bolthead. If you try to undo the bolt from the back you will be there forever.
