Thats what my new exhaust said, after a loooong time I finally found an opportunity to upgrade my hawt 8

It was a crazy good deal, brand new Fujitsubo Legalis-R for $750 from my friend's shop, they really wanted to get rid of it.

When I have a chance, ill upload some sound clips.

Very slick. For that money it sounds like a very good deal. Lets hope the sound lives up to your expectations...

The sound isn't THAT noticeable to me, at least not until you rev till about 5k RPM.

what is that coming off the intermediate pipe?

Kinda looks like the OBX exhaust

I think that is the resonator

That little penis that sticks out is a resonance chamber to quiet the exhaust down. :)

3in piping to the muffler. 3in tips. From the muffler to the tips it looks to be 2.5in, but since it goes from 3in to two 2.5in pipes it's not exactly a restriction. :)

This looks like the OBX cat-back, so I'm guessing it's the same thing.

I'm guessing after it's been broken in it'll get louder

I wonder how that resonator affects performance? It doesnt seem like it would be conducive to any power gains.

An exhaust needs to be broken in as well? How long is that process?

I don't feel any noticeable performance increments, nor did I ever expected any :P

Yes they are, just from the picture they don't look like it.

looks good. take some pics when you install too. aftermarket exhaust is a necessity with the 8. it's way too quiet stock.

atleast my RB exhaust took some time to settle in. after driving for a while it got deeper and a little louder. when i first put it on it was so quiet i was pissed but it eventually got better

Yeah, thats the way a lot of the TRD exhausts are too. I don't know what or how it "breaks-in", but all I know after about a thousand miles, it gets noticeable louder.
