greddy turbo=apex seals gone!

Today my car has broken down on meit can't hold compression or barely have enough. So to the dealership I go to get a replaced engine. But I will stick N/A and my greddy turbo will go on sale so I can possibly sell my car or trade it in. Oh well it was fun while it lasted

Really, you shouldn't even be driving the car without one.

what they were trying to tell you is no one can help you if you dont have at LEAST AFR's. and that of course goes back to your tune.
i wouldnt be a BIT surprised if greddy's base map would destroy your motor here. i dont know where on maui you are, but decent chances your very close to 0 ft. elevation and humid as hell...

then things like this certainly dont help either....

that sucks dude, especially on christmas... but to be fair, you were kinda warned a bit. and from some of your posts, i'm not sure i'd call it apex seals without having a professional checking it out first...

true - all the information is out there to prevent this from happening.

Nonetheless... im not going to bash you. After you get the engine checked out, let me know if you want my help. We'll see what we can do.

Also, if you are going to sell your turbo setup let me know. I know of a few people on Oahu who are about to buy one and would probably be interested.

You couldn't afford to tune the engine management correctly, but can afford to pay the dealer to replace the motor?

That sucks dude.... sorry to hear about it; some lessons seem to get learned the hard way.

IMO - If you can't afford to replace the engine straight up; you should REALLY not consider FI - on anything. Even on my silly Land Cruiser I had a second engine in case...

Well, you aren't going to get the cost for an engine replacement back from selling your kit.
